Burp Cloth's
I have been trying to get stuff ready for Baby Addisyn. So, I made her three burp cloths. We also got everything out of her room, except her stuff and my sewing machine. The room is painted but still needs a little touch up. My fabric for the crib skirt and bumper pads should be in by Friday of this week (so Nana you will be able to get started next week :-)

Redneck Slip N Slide
On Saturday, the boys decided they wanted to slip N slide...so Kevin made them a redneck slip N slide. Needless to say, they had fun on it and so did Cocky!
Chandler enjoyed sliding on his butt.
Bailey preferred using the board.
Cocky was there to help if they got out of control.
Bailey just couldn't stay on.

Baby Addisyn
This morning we went back to the doctor for a recheck. Dr. Boone said the baby is growing at the rate she should and everything looked good. He is going to keep me on the medication (Procardia - for contractions; and Macrobid - to prevent any urinary tract infections) until I am 36wks. After that, I will come off the medications and we will let nature take its course from that point.
I was a little concerned that I have a net gain of zero pounds, but Dr. Boone said as long as I am eating healthy than he was not concerned about it.
So, everything seems to have worked itself out in the Addisyn department.

Baby Addisyn Causing Trouble Already
As most/all of you know, last Thursday was a little scary for us. I started having contractions and was put in the hospital for the night. I have been home since Friday and have been resting. I have had only few contractions since my discharge from the hospital. Kevin has been very helpful - cleaning the house, cooking dinner, and trying to keep me from going insane! I go back to the doctor next Thursday, the 23rd, and will hopefully be able to get back to my normal routine.

The Back...
Sleepy Creek
Yesterday, Kevin and I took the boys down to Sleepy Creek for some outdoor fun. Little did I know, that I was entering a "war zone". The boys would get in the kayake and travel a ways down the river, as they called it. Kevin would then proceed to throw "bombs" at them. Chandler named every type of "bomb". A big rock, which made a huge splash, was called an "A-Bomb". If several small rocks were thrown at the same time, that was called a "cluster bombs". If Kevin would skip the rock down the creek, that was called a "torpedo". They played this for hours...and it was quit entertaining to watch.
After the war was over, Kevin and Chandler found some interesting creatures in the creek. We found crawfish or as Chandler corrected me, "crawdads". They also found several baby salamanders, a baby bass, and a baby scorpion. They boys had a great time playing in the creek and can't wait to go back again.
