Family Day

Since the boys do not start homework until next week, we decided to have a "family day" on Wednesday. We decided since the boys always want to go bowling that we would take them. I only bowled half a game while everyone else bowled two. Kevin won the first game and Bailey won the second one.

After that, we went to two different shoe stores to find new shoes for them. Then for dinner, we picked up Chris (he's in Augusta now) and all went to Logan's. We had a great time - until the next morning when they didn't want to get up for school!

Baby Addisyn

Today I went to see Dr. Boone. I am slowly starting to gain a little weight (so I hope that makes everyone happy). Addisyn is sitting very, very low. So, I will be on the Procardia until I am 36wks definitely (I was hoping he would take me off but he won't because of how low she is). I had a NST or non-stress-test done today. I only had two contractions in the twenty minutes that they monitored me and they were very mild. I am now on the weekly visits to the doctor. Not much longer though! I only have to wait four more weeks!!

First Day of School...

Today was the first day of school. Chandler started 4th grade with Mrs. Padgett. Bailey started 3rd grade with Mrs. Campbell. Neither one of them wanted to get up this morning...I don't think they went to sleep very early last night (something we will be working on in the next few weeks). They both had a great first day finding old friends from last year and making new friends.

OH, the Camping that we did!

Oh the camping that we went! Kevin and the boys decided to take the RV down to Sleepy Creek to go camping last night. The boys and I went to the grocery store yesterday morning to get their "camping essentials", which only consisted of food and drinks. I helped them get everything ready and sent them on their way around noon. By 2:30, I believe Kevin was ready to come back home...but instead they invited me down for dinner. I was only suppose to stay for dinner, but it started raining...so we all sat in the RV and watched movies until it was to late for me to drive home (I believe that was the plan all along anyway!).
So if you could picture this: Bailey slept on the pull down twin bed over the driver's seat. The couch pulls out to a double bed which is where me, Kevin, and Chandler tried to sleep. Chandler kept laying on top of us, so finally Kevin turned him side ways at our feet. Some how in the middle of the night Chandler's feet found their way between me and Kevin and proceeded to kick at us all night long. Between Kevin and Chandler rolling in the covers and Chandler's feet/legs moving all night, I did not get any rest.
We got up this morning, packed everything up, and made it back home before 11am. Kevin and I unpacked the RV and sent the boys upstairs to play for the remainder of the day.
What an adventure that I will not be sharing with them next time they go!

Dinner is now served

On Wednesday, the kids decided they were gonna make dinner for Kevin.

The menu included:

blueberry muffins cooked by Chandler,

shaped pancakes cooked by Bailey and cut by both of them,

and I had to cook the bacon. Chandler set the dining room table. Kevin was not allowed near the kitchen...so he took a nap...while the boys cooked him his special dinner.

They put the shaped pancakes on our plates and

served us in the dining room.

It was hilarious to watch...but the boys had a great time! (And I had a mess to clean up the next day)
